Droylsden Sealions Club History
Since it was founded over 50 years ago, the Club has always been based within the Droylsden area and has therefore managed to retain it's local club image.
It is one of the oldest swimming clubs in Greater Manchester, but having moved from it's original base in Droylsden to the purpose built Medlock Leisure Centre several years ago, is well placed for the challenges of the new millenium.
Over the years the Club has experienced many changes, not just in location, but also in training methods.Recently, under the present coaching team, a more professional attitude is bringing about increased success, not only in swimmer development, but also greater success at the year round galas and mini-meets.

Droylsden Sealions Swimming Club is affiliated to British Swimming & Amateur Swimming Association , Stockport Metro Swimming Club and Central Lancashire Swimming
& Waterpolo Association
